Ballyrafter Riding School; 15 minutes' drive away.  Exhibition & showjumping centre.  One of the top show jumping centre's in the country.  Facilities include: large open span arena, all weather show arena, cafeteria, games room, tack room, car parking & toilets. Home to 'The Irish Horse Experience' the only equestrian show of its kind in the country.

Finisk Valley Riding School; 25 minutes' drive away.  Beginners catered for & treks are available from 1 to 2 hours or longer by arrangement.  Open all year round except at Christmas. Lessons are available in a flood-lit sand arena.
