Its elevated position affords magnificent views of the Glen, the Blackwater Valley and beyond. Ard na Ciúin Guesthouse is very homely & family run, but this doesn't mean we are amateurs! With years of experience, working in many aspects of hospitality & function catering, we pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome, lovely food, great customer service & above all, great value for money. At Ard na Ciúin you are surrounded by nature, prompting our description of 'Tranquil, Wild Beauty'. Long sunny days are followed by stunning sunsets, rivalled only by ‘soft’ days with magical rainbows. Early morning mists often rise up through the Glen heralding warmer weather & creating a truly enchanting start to your day. Falcons soar in the skies above whilst summertime swallows dip into our ponds to drink. Venturing out of the adjacent forest, wild deer may be seen in the surrounding fields, along with hares, foxes & if you are lucky, the occasional badger!
Ard na Ciúin offers spacious rooms with full en-suite facilities, including fully adjustable power showers, ample hot water & purpose built cubicles, so no climbing in & out of a bath or fighting a clingy shower curtain! All of our sumptuous beds have orthapaedic pillow top matresses. This, combined with our crisp & luxurious linen, ensure that your stay, long or short will be comfortable. Our rooms are equipped with colour televisions & DVD players as well as hairdryers & tea & coffee making facilities. For families with young children we can offer a room with an additional bath. Free unlimited Wi-fi is available for guests with enabled laptops,phones etc. Ample free parking is provided. 
Our Boot Room is available for guest's fishing, hiking gear etc. so no need to worry about any damp clothes or muddy boots when enjoying your holiday! Laundry service is available as is a free iron & board.  Warm clear evenings can be spent relaxing on the veranda overlooking the ornamental pond or on the raised terrace, stargazing - all too easy due to the absence of light pollution. Make a wish on a shooting star! On more chilly nights, with its log burning stove & comfortable sofas, the guest's lounge is the perfect place to relax, unwind or maybe plan for tomorrow’s outing. For those seeking relaxation, peace & quiet, Ard na Ciúin is the ideal place to stay. One of our regular guests stayed with the sole purpose of finishing the book she was reading!
